in BAEA1180’s afterglow

A day and a quarter’s passed since our report submission… I remember seeing Pak Lah’s whole group helping out their reporter.. ironing the butter paper of sketches to compile… seeing Aji helping out Efa with the services layout… and helping out if there’s anything she wasnt sure of still.. seeing K.Izza waiting beside Raja at their little office faithfully, ready to jump to help… Siaw Chee helping Kemal… And the largest group of all…. mine… there was only Nad, who’s just lost her voice and looking really drowsy from her fever’s rest… bless her for coming over so early to help… where was the others who offered help the day before?
I guess two could manage to tackle the day.. printing took the whole afternoon, and I wouldnt make it without a help… Nad helped priint out the Autocad.. she knows her reduction ratios… and printing costed me alone Rm196.00… so that was about RM270.00 for the group’s production right out of my pocket..
Then, was back in the studio, worried that I’d worn my companion out of her scant energy… and then realised that there were more sketches to compile! and we forgot to buy the plastic file… I had to call for Shafiqq n Anwari to deal with it, bless them… at the same time I asked Lin to help me fold up the long elevations and sections into A3 size… thankfully Ahi helped pull out the sketches out of respective files… Murphy was busy with drawings for KeKKWa, I guess…
So I laid three copies of reports, which weighed tons, on the wooden table in front of the whiteboard, and asked my group members to sign …. as on the whiteboard "Sila sign report group masing2 sebelum anda disign kan! sayangi reporters anda, sila beri kerjasama!" So I harried them over to the front to sign.. Murphy signed for Fakhry.. ‘fuck’… I remember Pn Aniza trying to work out what his signature said… "F… A… eh…. Azwar kot…" … not to mention the time she took to assess our group’s signature… she said Murphy’s signature looked like his brother’s… and she said the one in the middle of the page looked interesting, which turned out to be MINE, ehem ehem! n she said "Nadiyah punye steady je"… and "Ini pon lawa"
oh well… you’d think you’d be free after that, but NO… the poster to submit this Friday.. even if Im not in charge, but I still had to help Anwari. Poor him, but I guess when the leader says Do It, then it means DO IT…!
soo, hopefully, in this afterglow of Measured Drawing, a poor tired girl like me could fine peace and quiet at last… (for half a day, that is.. darn…) that’s when she actually had time to burn a CD and really listen to it in the car! Now she’s back in the studio to do the last ever work…. that’s when the candle’s burning down low….
